To address the critical needs for specialized short track speedskating training in the Midwest, Pinnacle Speedskating Training Program was established in summer 2018 at the Pettit National Ice Center, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is an independent training program that is open to direct members of US Speedskating, skaters from local clubs, and international skaters.

Pinnacle benefits skaters of all levels by providing training programs, including on ice, off ice, conditioning, and mental training sessions. Pinnacle differentiates itself through its high expectations and rigorous technical focus, as skaters are expected to experience transformational growth in their attitudes, techniques, and strategies in speedskating. As a role model for the development of speedskating in the USA and the short track powerhouse of the Midwest, Pinnacle offers a welcoming home for speed skaters of all backgrounds and is a hub of excellence and perseverance.
