About

To address the critical needs for specialized short track speedskating training in the Midwest, Pinnacle Speedskating Training Program was established in summer 2018 at the Pettit National Ice Center (PNIC), in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is an independent training program that is open to direct members of US Speedskating, skaters from local clubs, and international skaters. Pinnacle has served not only as a feeder program for the US Speedskating Junior National Development Program Regional Training Center but also as a national talent pipeline that has demonstrated its impact.

Pinnacle benefits skaters of all different levels by providing training programs, including on-ice, office, conditioning, and mental training sessions. Setting a model for the development of speedskating in the USA, Pinnacle differentiates itself with its high expectation and rigorous technical focus. Skaters are expected to experience transformational growth in their attitudes, techniques, and strategies in speedskating. As the short track powerhouse of the Midwest, Pinnacle is a reliable program for speed skaters of all backgrounds and a welcoming home that cultivates excellence and perseverance.
