Visiting Skater Policy

Eligibility
Skaters must hold a valid membership in good standing with US Speedskating or any governing body recognized by the ISU (International Speedskating Union).
Entry Qualification
Skaters must be evaluated and approved by the Pinnacle Head Coach and Director before being accepted into training sessions. Each training session is subject to Pinnacle policies and coaching capacity.
Training Groups
Training groups and advancement are determined by the Pinnacle coaching team based on skaters’ ability, age, mental maturity, and sportsmanship.
Affiliation
We strongly recommend that visiting skaters maintain membership with their home club and represent that club in all competitions during the season. Pinnacle prohibits visiting skaters from representing Pinnacle in any competition if they remain valid members of another club/team.
Any in-season change to a skater’s affiliation, as well as eligibility to represent Pinnacle in competitions, must be approved by the Pinnacle Head Coach and Director on a case-by-case basis.
Registration & Attendance
  • Walk-in training is not permitted. Skaters must complete registration and make payment in advance before attending Pinnacle training sessions.
  • There is no attendance requirement for visiting skaters.
  • Cancellation of a training session must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance.

If you have any questions regarding attending Pinnacle training as a visitor skater, please feel free to reach out to us through contact@pinnaclespeedskating.com.
